Throughout this difficult time, we endeavour to keep you as up-to-date as possible.  Please check the ClassDojo page for weekly updates on learning as well as activities to support your families' well-being.

If any pupil develops suspected symptoms, such as a continuous cough or a high temperature, they should be booked in for a test. School should be notified in the usual way and further advice will be delivered at, and in response to, each individual case.

Short Term

If your child needs to self-isolate school will establish the home’s capacity to support remote learning e.g. isolating with/without illness. At this point learning will be revision/embedding of recent learning supplemented by signposting to websites that the children use in their everyday learning e.g. Times Table Rockstars, Spelling Shed

Risk Assessment Preparation Plan

Guidance for good hygiene, which remains our best defence, is as follows:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often – for at least 20 seconds.

  • Always wash your hands when you transition from one workspace to another or home.

  • Use hand sanitiser if and when soap and water are not available.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

  • Place used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands after using.

  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

  • Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
